Initially we want to be using Bark.com to get you used to and comfortable with dealing with leads. They have a good introductory starter package which states if you do not get any bookings you will get your credits back so it is a really good way for you to learn the business processes when first getting started.

Ideally we should be spending our first several hundred £/$ on Bark, we need to have some focus on a platform where we can manage reviews. 

Once we increase your marketing spend and there are not enough leads coming through on Bark we will then expand onto other platforms such as (Dependant on country) Thumbtack, Google, Yelp, Yell etc. 

  • When a new lead comes through on Bark you will receive an email.
  • Only respond to new Barks within 10 minutes.
  • Upto 5 companies can respond to leads on Bark so being the first increases your chances of conversions greatly!
  • Check the dates / times / locations of the clean and only respond if you are able to complete the clean.
  • Use the one-click response when responding to a new lead, you can set your one click response under the settings tab within Bark.
  • When you have responded to a new lead with the one click response please also try and call them. Provide a quote over the phone / attempt to book them in / leave a voicemail if necessary.
  • Add your leads contact information into the contact form on your home page so they are added automatically to your email marketing campaign if you have not been able to book them in.
  • If you provide a quote over the phone you can send them a manual email through your business email – use one of the below templates and amend as necessary.
  • Bark often have a promotional “starter pack” if possible buy this for your first credits as they will refund your credits until you get a booking.
